MUSTANG OF THE MONTH

This vehicle belongs to STANG GANG members, Jim and Kathy of Jackson, TN. It's a 2006 V6 Mustang as our Mustang of the Month for January 2008. Looking good, Jim and Kathy!

JOIN THE GANG

Whether you drive a Classic 1964 1/2, first generation, Mustang or the latest 2008 Shelby GT500 the STANG GANG of Jackson is the club for you. It's a club that will honor the quintessential Ford Pony Car - the Mustang. Club activities and events will include:

Show & Shines - At these local events, Mustangers spend time together and show off their rides to the general public. Proceeds benefit the club or a local charity. It's the new name for the old game of the local car show at the drive-in or dealership down the road. It's fun, its inexpensive and you don't have to have bone-stock, vintage classic to participate. Of course, classic rides are welcomed, but so are restomods, late models, tuner Mustangs and daily drivers. Do you like to show off your Mustang? Of course you do, what Mustang driver doesn't? These will be your chance to do it and have fun at the same time.
Driving Events - Starting locally, the club will drive from some point in Jackson, Tennessee to a nearby State Park, Attraction or other car club's event. These combine the Show & Shine with what you like to do best, drive your Stang! It's a casual road rally combined with a club meeting. Family-oriented sites and events are selected so that you, your spouse and kids (if they can fit in that tiny back seat) are all welcome for the trips.
Annual Mustang & All Ford Show - Right now, this is still a dream, but the club would like to establish an annual large scale car show locally to benefit the club and a local charity. The event would be open to Mustangers, owners of other Ford-powered vehicles. Vendors and concessioners would be invited to set-up shop at the event, as well.
